The 85% equity holdings of new company owned by VEL and they will make it become Asia’s largest production base. An Israeli company called Power Paper invented a paper battery which is thin like a piece of paper. Canada Ballard Power Systems Inc. recently said that they has already reached an agreement with Daimler Group ,they will supply fuel cell for Daimler’s clean energy cars and buses.
According to the supply agreement, Ballard will supply the fuel cells whiche are worth 2.6 million U.S. dollars in April 2010 to October 2011 period for Daimler .
Ballard is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, specializing in the producing and designing hydrogen fuel cells. Daimler Automotive is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, is currently developing clean-fuel vehicles like global other vehicles enterprises.
Ballard, Daimler and Ford Motor Co. set up an automotive fuel cell company’s Automotive Fuel Cell Cooper [Review Photo Forum] ation Corp (AFCC) in 2007 together, their controlling the amount of 19.9%, 50.1% and 30%. However, according to media reports, Ballard recently announced, it has its holdings of 19.9% of the AFCC to 42 million U.S. dollars of shares sold to the one financial institution, but Ballard did not reveal specific information of financial institutions.
